Semaj Turner is a 6'3", 255-pound defensive end from Winston-Salem, NC, who lettered four seasons at Ronald Wilson Reagan High School. Turner enrolled at Duke in January 2023 after being rated a three-star prospect. He appeared in three games during his 2023 debut, recording three tackles on 31 snaps and earning the team's defensive scout team player of the year award. Turner did not see action in 2024. In 2025, he played in 13 games, missing only the season opener against Elon, and recorded six tackles and one quarterback pressure across 150 snaps. Over his career at Duke, Turner has appeared in 16 games, accumulating nine tackles and one QB pressure on 181 total snaps. He earned 2025 Academic All-ACC selection honors.
