Kaleb Lanier is a 6'0", 190-pound cornerback from Decatur, Georgia, who enrolled at Duke in January 2025. A three-star recruit, Lanier lettered four years at Decatur High School, earning three all-region honors. As a senior, he recorded 36 tackles, five interceptions, and 11 pass breakups on defense while adding 11 receptions for 210 yards and three touchdowns at wide receiver. In 2025, the true freshman appeared in four regular season games plus the ACC Championship Game, compiling one tackle against Virginia while playing 65 snaps. Named one of the program's three D-Squad Players of the Year, Lanier preserved his redshirt and returns as a redshirt freshman.
