Julius Columbus is a defensive tackle for Duke who enrolled in January 2025. A three-star prospect from Gainesville High School, Columbus lettered four years under head coach Josh Nibblet. As a senior, he recorded 43 tackles, 5.0 sacks and nine quarterback pressures. During his junior season, Columbus posted 55 tackles, 21.0 sacks and eight QB pressures while helping Gainesville reach the state semifinals. In 2025, he appeared in one game versus Elon, playing three snaps in the season opener. Columbus remains on the roster as a returning player for 2026.
