Julius Columbus is a defensive tackle for Duke who enrolled in January 2025. A three-star prospect from Gainesville High School, Columbus lettered four years under head coach Josh Nibblet. As a senior, he recorded 43 tackles, 5.0 sacks and nine quarterback pressures. During his junior season, Columbus posted 55 tackles, 21.0 sacks and eight QB pressures while helping Gainesville reach the state semifinals.
