Bio

James Steel is a right defensive end from Swedesboro, New Jersey, who attended Caravel Academy before transferring to Delaware. A three-star prospect rated No. 2 in Delaware, Steel was a three-year letterwinner at Caravel, starting for three seasons. He earned First Team All-State honors in 2023 and 2024, along with back-to-back DIAA 2A Defensive Player of the Year awards those same years.
