Phillip Houston is a 6'5", 280-pound right tackle from McKinney, Texas who transferred to Colorado as an undergraduate with three years of eligibility remaining. He played five games as a starter at FIU in 2022 before appearing in eleven of twelve games at the position in 2023, recording 651 snaps. Houston joined Colorado for the 2024 season and started nine of the first eleven games, taking over at right tackle in week three against Colorado State. He was on the field for 541 plays on the offensive line while allowing five sacks, 30 hurries, and 35 pressures in 397 pass blocking snaps before missing the final two games due to injury. In 2025, he did not see game action while recovering from that injury.
