Makari Vickers is a defensive back from Tallahassee, Florida, who transferred to Colorado from Oklahoma. A unanimous four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, he spent two seasons with the Sooners, appearing in 12 games and recording nine tackles and one pass breakup. At Colorado in 2025, Vickers played in eight games with two starts, including his first collegiate start against Wyoming in week four. He finished the season with 13 total tackles, seven unassisted, three pass breakups, and one quarterback hurry before missing four games due to injury.
