He appeared in four games during the 2025 season, starting two contests. Making his collegiate debut at home against Delaware in week two, Lewis earned his first start on the road against West Virginia, where he completed 22-of-35 passes for 299 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Over the season, he completed 52-of-94 passes for 589 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Lewis was named analytics services Big 12 QB of the Week in week 11.
