Dominiq Ponder is a quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes who transferred to the program as an undergraduate with four years of eligibility remaining. The 6'5", 200-pound junior from Opa Locka, Florida, played prep football at Carol City High School and also attended Naples High School, where he recorded 511 passing yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore while adding 356 rushing yards and three scores on the ground. After redshirting at Bethune Cookman, Ponder made his collegiate debut in 2025, appearing in two games. He played three snaps against Arizona, completing 0 of 1 passes while rushing twice for -4 yards, and contributed on kickoff coverage against West Virginia.
