Emory Floyd, a 6'1" cornerback from Powder Springs, Georgia, transferred to Colorado after three seasons at South Carolina and one year at Appalachian State. At App State in 2025, he appeared in all 13 games and recorded 35 unassisted tackles alongside six pass breakups, one interception, and one tackle for loss, earning All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mention honors. Floyd entered the transfer portal rated as a three-star prospect and ranked No. 885 overall and No. 97 at running back as of January 16, 2026. He brings one remaining year of eligibility to the Buffaloes.
