Alex Ward is a 6'1" wide receiver from Carrollton, Georgia, who attended IMG Academy in Florida before reclassifying to the class of 2026. A consensus four-star prospect, he earned ratings of 89 (Rivals), 80 (national outlets), and 90 (recruiting services). At IMG Academy, Ward played both wide receiver and defensive back, recording one reception for five yards on offense and seven tackles on defense. In his sophomore season at Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, he appeared in seven games and compiled nine receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns while adding 18 tackles and two interceptions defensively. Ward also competed in track and field. He now plays for the Colorado Buffaloes as a true freshman.
