Kain McDonald is a center for Coastal Carolina, standing 6'2" and weighing 305 pounds. The Tullahoma, Tennessee native arrived as a composite three-star prospect from FW Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Florida. In 2024, his offensive line contributed to an attack generating over 400 yards total offense and 31 points per game while supporting both a 1,000-yard rusher and a 3,500-yard passer. McDonald scored on a 1-yard rushing touchdown in a regional playoff win over Evans. As a true freshman in 2025, he appeared in seven games. The returning sophomore now enters his second season with the Chanticleers.
