Gavin McLaughlin is a left tackle from Concord, North Carolina, who attended Jay M. Robinson High School. There, he helped lead the Bulldogs to an undefeated regular season and earned MVP honors at the 2022 92 Ways Football Lineman Camp before signing with Coastal Carolina in the 2024 recruiting class. McLaughlin redshirted during his freshman year in 2024. As a sophomore in 2025, he appeared in seven games for the Chanticleers, gaining game experience along the offensive line.
