Daelen Alexander is a running back from Pflugerville, Texas, who played high school football at Weiss before attending Rice. As a freshman in 2023, he appeared in six games and scored six touchdowns on 19 touches before suffering a season-ending injury. He missed the 2024 season while recovering. Alexander returned to action in 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, rushing for 392 yards and two touchdowns on 74 carries. He recorded his first 100-yard rushing game with 129 yards on 12 carries against UTSA and posted a career-long 57-yard run in that same contest. Alexander transferred to Coastal Carolina and is a returning junior in 2026.
