Breyahn Townsend is a running back from Midlothian, Illinois, who played high school football at Bremen. He earned IHSFCA All-State honors after rushing for 1,464 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior, averaging 13.0 yards per carry. Townsend attended Independence Community College, where he rushed 111 times for 348 yards and three touchdowns while adding 10 receptions for 63 yards. He signed with Coastal Carolina in February 2025. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Townsend appeared in nine games, recording 12 carries for 29 yards and one reception for 9 yards.
