Ahmad Poole, a 6'0", 305-pound nose tackle from Danville, Virginia, played four years at George Washington High School, where he earned first-team all-state honors as a senior with 130 tackles, 15 sacks and eight forced fumbles. He began his college career at Virginia State in 2022, appearing in nine games as a freshman with 23 tackles and 1.5 sacks. After a redshirt season in 2023, Poole recorded 33 tackles and 2.5 sacks over 10 games in 2024. In 2025 at Missouri State, he appeared in all 13 games with five starts, compiling 28 tackles and earning Missouri State Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognition. He now returns to Coastal Carolina as a redshirt senior.
