Gideon Davidson is a running back for the Clemson Tigers who was born May 16, 2006, in Ghana, and attended Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Virginia. A four-star recruit ranked 69th overall in the 2025 class, Davidson was named MaxPreps' 2023 National Junior of the Year and earned 2024 Gatorade Player of the Year and MaxPreps Virginia High School Football Player of the Year honors. He signed with Clemson on June 14, 2023, and enrolled in January 2025. In his true freshman season, Davidson appeared in 13 games with 190 snaps, rushing 60 times for 260 yards with a long of 28, catching 11 passes for 93 yards with a long of 15, and returning 2 kickoffs for 12 yards. He was selected to the ACC Honor Roll. Davidson enters 2026 as a returning sophomore.
