Chris Johnson Jr. is a running back who transferred to Clemson in January 2026 after three seasons in the ACC. At Miami from 2023-24, he appeared in 16 games and rushed 17 times for 104 yards with one touchdown while catching nine passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns. He then played 12 games at SMU in 2025, finishing second on the team in rushing attempts (67), rushing yards (479), and rushing touchdowns (four), and adding 17 receptions for 180 yards with one touchdown. Across all three college seasons, Johnson compiled 84 rushing attempts for 583 yards with five touchdowns, 26 catches for 254 yards with three touchdowns, and 22 kickoff returns for 522 yards. A Fort Lauderdale, Florida native, he was a four-star prospect ranked No. 231 overall by national outlets and was Florida's 3A state champion in the 100-meter dash (10.45) and 200-meter dash (20.78) as a junior.
