Carter Scruggs is an offensive lineman from Leesburg, Virginia, who attended Loudoun County High School. A three-time all-state honoree, Scruggs was named a 2024 Washington Post All-Metro selection as a junior and served as a two-year team captain without allowing a sack during his junior and senior seasons. He helped lead Loudoun County to a Class 4 regional semifinal in 2024 and the program's first regional championship in 2025. Rated a four-star prospect, Scruggs committed to Clemson on June 5, 2025, and enrolled in January 2026 as a pre-business major with a 3.95 high school GPA.
