Chapman Pendergrass is a 6'3", 295-pound center from Anderson, South Carolina, who joined Clemson as a walk-on in summer 2022 and redshirted that season. Over three seasons, he appeared in 36 career games while accumulating 73 offensive snaps. In 2024, Pendergrass played all 14 games with 39 snaps on offense and contributed to Clemson's punt shield unit. During the 2025 season, he played 22 offensive snaps across multiple contests while starting on the punt shield in all 13 games. Pendergrass earned his degree in construction science and management in May 2026 and returns as a redshirt senior.
