Jonathan Rulo is a defensive lineman from Belleville, Illinois, who played at Belleville East High School. A three-star recruit ranked No. 20 overall in Illinois by recruiting services and No. 72 nationally at defensive tackle by national outlets, Rulo recorded 204 career tackles with 84 solos and 55 tackles for loss. He posted 17 sacks in his high school career, including six during his senior season, and earned 2024 IHSFCA All-State honors in the 8A class. Rulo also competed in wrestling, winning multiple state and national championships. He signed with Cincinnati over Iowa and Kansas State and joined the Bearcats as a true freshman.
