CJ Jones is a safety from Chicago, Illinois who attended Bolingbrook High School. A consensus three-star recruit, he was ranked No. 72 among cornerback prospects nationally and Illinois' No. 14 prospect by recruiting services. Jones committed to Cincinnati over offers from Boston College and other programs. In 2025, he appeared in six games with four total tackles, including three solo tackles in the AutoZero Liberty Bowl.
