Seth Franklin is a wide receiver for the Charlotte 49ers from Fayetteville, NC, where he attended E.E. Smith High School. At E.E. Smith, he earned First Team All-County and All-Conference honors and was named Team MVP as a junior. Franklin joined Charlotte's 13th recruiting class in 2024 as a redshirt freshman and did not appear in games that season. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, he saw action in 11 games on special teams. Franklin, who stands 5'10" and weighs 170 pounds, returns to the 49ers for the 2026 season.
