Max Macklem is a defensive back for Central Michigan who redshirted the 2025 season after enrolling as a true freshman. The 6'0", 190-pound DB from Grand Blanc, Michigan graduated from Goodrich High School, where he earned Division 4 First Team All-State honors in 2023 and was a two-time All-Region selection. As a senior, Macklem compiled 1,248 yards of total offense with 13 touchdowns, along with 39 tackles, five tackles for loss, and an 85-yard interception return for a touchdown on defense. He helped lead Goodrich to a 13-1 record and state championship, including a 35-6 victory in the Division 4 title game against Niles.
