David Williams is a defensive back for Central Michigan, having enrolled in January 2026. The 6'0", 190-pound true freshman from Detroit, Michigan, graduated from Warren De La Salle Collegiate High School in December 2025 after playing four varsity seasons. Williams earned First Team All-Region honors twice and was named a team captain his senior year. Across three seasons, he recorded 60 tackles (32 solo), four interceptions, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 36 games. As a junior, he posted 45 tackles (31 solo) and five interceptions in 11 starts at safety. A three-star prospect rated the state's top defensive back, Williams also competes in track and field, running the 100-meter dash in 11.85 seconds and 200-meter dash in 24.29 seconds.
