Colton Benaitis is a 6'2", 195-pound true freshman defensive back for Central Michigan. The Homer Glen, Illinois native enrolled in January 2026 after graduating from Lockport Township East High School in December 2025. At Lockport Township East, he recorded six interceptions as a junior and was named to the Class 8A IHSFCA First Team All-State team at defensive back. He also earned two All-SWSC honors and recorded two interceptions plus a fourth-quarter pick six versus Naperville Central.
