Caden VanHuis is a placekicker for Central Michigan, standing 6'2" and weighing 190 pounds. The Holland, Michigan native graduated from Holland Christian H.S. in June 2025, where he played four years of varsity football under head coach Dave Abberger. As a senior, he converted 7 of 8 field goal attempts with a long of 47 yards and made 37 of 38 point after attempts while helping the Maroons to a 6-4 record and state playoff appearance. Ranked the No. 3 placekicker nationally by Kornblue Kicking, VanHuis was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in December 2024. He committed to Central Michigan on November 10, 2024, and redshirted during the 2025 season as a true freshman.
