Tyson Ruffins is an offensive lineman for the California Golden Bears. A three-star recruit from Long Beach Poly High School in Carson, California, Ruffins joined Nevada in 2023, appearing in four games during his freshman year while redshirting. In 2024, his redshirt freshman season, he appeared in 11 games with nine starts at guard and earned Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors following the opener against SMU on August 24. At Cal in 2025, Ruffins started all 13 games, one of only two offensive linemen and eight players overall to do so, protecting quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and blocking for running back Kendrick Raphael, who totaled 943 rushing yards and 1,188 all-purpose yards.
