Ashten Emory is a running back from Dallas, Texas who attended Rockwall High School before joining UTEP. During his prep career, he carried 341 times for 2,843 yards and 32 touchdowns. As a senior in 2023, he rushed 224 times for 2,035 yards and 25 touchdowns, averaging 9.1 yards per carry while posting at least 100 rushing yards in nine of 13 games. At UTEP, Emory appeared in 12 games during the 2025 season as a redshirt freshman, recording 592 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 119 attempts, plus 16 receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns. He was named to the 2025 Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. He now transfers to California as a redshirt sophomore.
