AJ Tuitele is an inside linebacker for the California Golden Bears. The 6'2", 220-pound redshirt freshman from North Las Vegas, Nevada, transferred from USC. During his 2025 freshman season at USC, he played in three games before redshirting. At Mojave High School, Tuitele recorded 167 tackles, including 37 for loss and 4 sacks, across 13 games as a senior in 2024. He posted double-digit tackles in 10 games, with a season-high 20 tackles twice, and led Mojave to a 12-1 record and the Nevada 4A State Championship. Rated the No. 1 player in Nevada by recruiting services, he was also a 2024 SI Nevada Football Player of the Year nominee.
