Aaron Hampton is a junior inside linebacker for the California Golden Bears from Anchorage, Alaska, where he attended West Anchorage High School. In his freshman year (2024), he appeared in eight games and recorded two tackles, including his collegiate debut against UC Davis. During his sophomore season (2025), Hampton played in all 13 games and made his first collegiate start against Louisville. He finished with 41 total tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack. He recorded 15 tackles against Virginia, six against Louisville, and five in the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl against Hawai'i.
