During his freshman year in 2025, Manutai appeared and started in 11 games, recording 44 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 pass deflections, 1 interception, and 1 fumble recovery. He posted a season-high 8 tackles against SMU and notched 5 or more tackles in four contests.
