Walker Lyons is a 6'4", 245-pound tight end from Folsom, California, who transferred to BYU after two seasons at USC. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, he appeared in 23 games for the Trojans across 2024 and 2025. As a true freshman in 2024, Lyons played in 11 games with 3 starts. In 2025, he appeared in 12 games, recording 20 receptions for 223 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lyons was recognized as an All-American and earned All-State honors during his prep career in California.
