Keayen Nead is a 6'5" tight end from Sugar City, Idaho, who plays for the BYU Cougars. He prepped at Sugar-Salem High School, where he earned second-team all-state honors as a tight end and defensive end while winning state titles in basketball and football as a senior. Nead played at Weber State from 2022 to 2024, appearing in 20 career games. As a sophomore, he played in all 12 games and recorded nine receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown. In 2023 as a redshirt freshman, he had seven receptions for 28 yards across eight games. He transferred to New Mexico for spring football in 2025 before joining BYU as a transfer-in.
