Treyson Bourguet is a 6'2", 205-pound quarterback from Tucson, Arizona who transferred to BYU from Western Michigan. At Saltpoint Catholic High School, he compiled 3,987 passing yards and 57 touchdowns while going 28-5 as a starter, earning 2022 Southern Arizona Player of the Year honors. Over two seasons at Western Michigan from 2022-23, Bourguet appeared in 10 games, completing 111 of 212 passes for 1,314 yards with six touchdowns and adding 219 rushing yards on 79 carries for one score. In 2025, the redshirt junior has appeared in limited action, completing 1 of 2 passes for 8 yards while recording a 21-yard rush against Portland State.
