Orion Maile-Kaufusi is a 6'3", 245-pound defensive end from Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally signed with Oregon State in 2021 as a 3-star prospect out of East High School, where he recorded 90 tackles, including 40 solo stops, along with 8.5 tackles-for-loss and five sacks as a senior. He transferred to BYU and redshirted before appearing in six games during the 2025 season, posting two total tackles with one solo stop against Stanford. Maile-Kaufusi was named to the Fall Academic All-Big 12 Team and returns as a redshirt sophomore.
