Maika Kaufusi is a 6'3", 235-pound rover for the BYU Cougars. A three-star recruit from Cottonwood Heights, Utah in the 2022 class, Kaufusi redshirted his freshman year in 2024 and appeared in the Alamo Bowl, a 36-14 victory over No. 23 Colorado. As a redshirt junior in 2025, he has recorded two total tackles in his returning role on defense.
