Cade Uluave is a rover from South Jordan, Utah, who transferred to BYU after three seasons at California. The son of Kalisi Uluave, who played linebacker at Southern Utah, he appeared in 34 games for the Bears, starting 26. In 2025, Uluave started 11 of 12 games and recorded 100 total tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, and 5 quarterback hurries, earning First-Team All-ACC honors. Across his Cal tenure, he accumulated 237 career tackles, 21.5 TFL, 6 sacks, 3 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles. He was named Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2023 and earned All-American recognition from multiple outlets that same year.
