Logan Payne is a 5'10", 210-pound running back for the BYU Cougars. A Pleasant View, Utah native, Payne prepped at Weber High School, where he was named a first-team all-state running back in 2021 after leading the state's 6A classification with 191 carries, 1,390 rushing yards, and 16 touchdowns. He also contributed defensively with 66 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and four sacks. His 1,390 rushing yards set a Weber High School single-season record. Payne earned Utah RB of the Year honors in 2021 and first-team all-region and area accolades. Following his high school career and a mission in Cali, Colombia, he joined BYU as a returning freshman.
