Jayven Williams is a 6'2", 175-pound right cornerback from Mobile, Alabama, who transferred to BYU as a redshirt senior. Williams began his college career at Kennesaw State, where he logged 24 games including five starts across three seasons, recording 53 total tackles, eight pass breakups, four tackles for loss, two sacks, and one interception returned for a touchdown covering 48 yards. He played 13 games for Mississippi State in 2025, posting 18 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception, and two pass breakups. At Baker High School, Williams earned first-team all-state honors at wide receiver and led the Hornets to the Alabama Class 7A state playoffs as a senior.
