Evan Johnson is a 6'0", 185-pound left cornerback from Monterey, California, who was a multi-sport athlete at Stevenson High School. As a senior in 2021, he recorded 14 tackles including 11 solo tackles on defense, caught seven passes for 189 yards and five touchdowns, and completed a touchdown pass. Johnson was a three-star prospect by recruiting services and received offers from multiple schools including Arizona State, Boston College, and Colorado before joining BYU. In 2025, the redshirt senior recorded 42 total tackles with 33 solo tackles, five interceptions for 25 yards including one returned for a touchdown, one sack, two tackles for loss, and seven pass deflections.
