John Keough is a safety from Macedonia, OH who attended Walsh Jesuit High School, where he earned Division II first-team All-Ohio honors with 102 tackles, five interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns his senior season. At Buffalo, Keough appeared in all 13 games as a freshman in 2024, recording six tackles and a fumble recovery. In 2025, he played in all 12 games primarily on special teams, accumulating 14 tackles with a season-best three at Bowling Green on 11/1. He was named Academic All-District following his sophomore year and returns as a junior.
