He redshirted during his first season at Buffalo in 2024, appearing in the Bahamas Bowl against Liberty with two carries for 15 yards. In 2025 as a redshirt-sophomore, McNeil appeared in all 12 games and carried 12 times for 67 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against Saint Francis and added a one-yard touchdown run versus Troy. From Buffalo, NY.
