Gabriel Arena is a left tackle from Harrisburg, PA who attended Bishop McDevitt High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner and team captain as a senior. He helped the Crusaders win back-to-back regional championships and a state championship in his senior season, earning PennLive Mid-Penn Football All-Star honors. Arena transferred to Buffalo after one season at Virginia Tech, where he redshirted. In 2024, he appeared in nine games as a reserve offensive lineman.
