Cornell Evans is a defensive tackle from Seat Pleasant, Maryland, who attended St. Frances Academy before joining Buffalo. A redshirt freshman in 2023, he appeared in five games and recorded two tackles. In 2024, his redshirt-sophomore season, Evans worked into the starting lineup with nine starts across 13 appearances, compiling 15 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. During the 2025 redshirt-junior campaign, Evans appeared in all 12 games with seven starts, tallying 14 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. He currently majors in communication and returns as a graduate student.
