Jabari Mitchell is a linebacker for Bowling Green who hails from Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He played at Reynoldsburg High School under head coach Mark Philmore, earning first-team all-conference honors in 2020 and 2021 before serving as team captain in 2022. Mitchell redshirted his freshman year in 2023 and did not appear in games as a redshirt freshman in 2024. In 2025, his sophomore season, he has appeared in all seven games and recorded two tackles, including two at Louisville. He is the son of Tiffany and Kinta Mitchell; his father played football at Bowling Green from 1995–2000.
