The 6'1", 190-pound native of Aliso Viejo, California, played at Aliso Niguel High School, where he compiled 3,744 career passing yards with 29 touchdowns and rushed for 592 yards and 13 touchdowns. Najm enrolled at Washington State in January 2024 and redshirted the 2024 season.
