Reed Swanson is a 6'6" wide receiver who transferred to Boston College as a mid-year addition for the 2026 season. The Glen Gardner, New Jersey native previously played three seasons at Colgate, appearing in 23 games and accumulating 78 receptions for 1,171 yards with 12 touchdowns. In 2025, he caught 57 passes for 939 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 16.5 yards per catch, earning All-Patriot League Second-Team honors. His 939 receiving yards ranked fourth in the Patriot League, and his eight touchdown receptions tied for second in the conference. Swanson attended Wyoming Seminary Prep in Pennsylvania, where he lettered at wide receiver and defensive back, earning Team MVP and First-Team All-League recognition.
