Johnathan Montague Jr. is a 6'2", 210-pound wide receiver for Boston College from Zebulon, NC. Originally a dual-threat quarterback at Clayton High School, where he passed for 1,601 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for 2,578 yards and 41 touchdowns as a senior, Montague converted to receiver during his freshman training camp in 2024. He appeared in nine games that season, recording five receptions for 26 yards and three carries for 32 yards including a 24-yard touchdown on a reverse against North Carolina. He also logged six kick returns for 98 yards, with a season-high 25-yard return in the Pinstripe Bowl. Montague missed the 2025 season due to injury and returns as a redshirt sophomore.
