Marcelous Townsend is a defensive back for Boston College, standing 5'11" and weighing 180 pounds. The Dallas, Georgia native attended Blessed Trinity Catholic, where he set the school record for interceptions in 2024 and recorded over 50 tackles and seven interceptions across his final two high school seasons. He earned consecutive all-region honors in 2023 and 2024. Townsend joined the Eagles program in summer 2025 and appeared in three games during his freshman year, registering six total tackles while playing cornerback and contributing on special teams.
