Trey Tolmaire is a redshirt sophomore defensive back for Boise State from Mission Viejo, California. A three-star recruit by recruiting services, he led Mission Viejo HS to a state championship in his senior year with a 27-14 victory over De La Salle, the program's first title since 2015. That season he recorded 72 tackles (45 solo, 27 assisted), 12 interceptions, 25 pass break-ups, 4.0 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He redshirted in 2024, then appeared in three games during the 2025 season, recording an interception return of 21 yards against Eastern Washington on September 5 in his collegiate debut.
